Zias cup is handmade on the potter’s wheel from a warm brown stoneware clay. The inside is finished with a glossy glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed except for a glossy circular detail.

DIMENSIONS
The cup measures 9 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height. With a capacity of approximately 230 ml, it is perfect for coffee or tea.

MATERIAL
Stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Black clay with a transparent glossy glaze on the inside.

GOOD TO KNOW
All pieces are handmade in my Hamburg studio. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece unique. The ceramics are food safe and dishwasher safe.

Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
