This cup is handmade on the potter’s wheel from a fine grogged white stoneware clay. The inside and the foot are finished with a glossy glaze detail stripe, while the exterior remains unglazed, creating a naturally raw and tactile surface.

DIMENSIONS
This stoneware cup measures 9 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height. With a capacity of approximately 230 ml, it is perfect for coffee or tea.

MATERIAL
White stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Light beige clay with a transparent glossy glaze detail.

GOOD TO KNOW
Each piece is carefully handmade in my Hamburg studio. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece unique.

The ceramics are food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to preserve the beauty of each piece. Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
