One of a kind vase in XL

This one-of-a-kind vase is handmade on the potter’s wheel from a beige speckled clay. Its unique form is shaped intuitively, highlighting the relationship between material, texture and silhouette. The inside is finished with a matte glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed, revealing the natural character of the clay.

DIMENSIONS
The vase measures 20.5 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter.

MATERIAL
Stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Beige speckled clay with a matte glaze on the inside.

GOOD TO KNOW
Each piece is carefully handmade in my Hamburg studio and exists as a unique object. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece one of a kind.

The ceramics are food safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to preserve the beauty of each piece. Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
