Handbuilt vase 03

This handbuilt vessel is made from a light beige stoneware clay with visible grog. Shaped by hand, its textured surface highlights the raw and tactile quality of the material. The inside is finished with a glossy glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed, allowing the structure of the clay to remain visible.

DIMENSIONS
The vessel measures 31 cm in height and approximately 16 cm at its widest point.

MATERIAL
Stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Light beige clay with visible grog. The inside is finished with a glossy glaze.

GOOD TO KNOW
All pieces are carefully handmade in my Hamburg studio. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece unique. The ceramics are food safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to preserve the beauty of each piece.

Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
