Handbuilt vase 01

This handbuilt vessel is made from a beige stoneware clay with subtle speckles. Shaped by hand, its organic form highlights the natural character of the material. The inside is finished with a glossy glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed, allowing the texture of the clay to remain visible.

DIMENSIONS
The vessel measures 42 cm in height and approximately 16.5 cm at its widest point.

MATERIAL
Stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Beige clay with subtle speckles. The inside is finished with a glossy glaze.

GOOD TO KNOW
All pieces are carefully handmade in my Hamburg studio. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece unique. The ceramics are food safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to preserve the beauty of each piece.

Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
