This coaster is handmade on the potter’s wheel from a warm brown stoneware clay. The small coaster is finished with a transparent glaze on both the top and underside, while the rim remains unglazed, highlighting the natural texture of the clay.

DIMENSIONS
The coaster measures 11 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height.

MATERIAL
Stoneware clay from the Westerwald region in Germany. For both firing processes, renewable energy is used.

COLOUR & CLAY
Warm brown clay with a transparent glaze on the inside and underside.

GOOD TO KNOW
All pieces are carefully handmade in my Hamburg studio. Small variations in size, colour and form are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics and make each piece unique. The ceramics are food safe and dishwasher safe.

Unglazed surfaces have a deliberately raw and tactile finish. To preserve the material, it is recommended not to leave unglazed areas in prolonged contact with oily foods or strongly staining liquids.
